    How to set Gmail as Your Default Mail Client in Firefox

    Ever get tired of clicking on “Contact Us”, “E-mail Me” or e-mail addresses and Outlook Express, Windows Mail (on Vista) or some other Mail program opening?  Here’s your answer.  From Firefox, do this:

    Click Tools > Options > Applications, then type “mailto” (without quotes) in the search box.  You should see something like this: (click for larger image)

    You will have several options, one of which should be Gmail. Click GMail, select ok, and you’re done!  Simple, eh?

    By the way, why did you change the banner picture from the awesome Mustang (it is refreshing to find another mustang guy) to the keyboard?

    It may be more “techy”, but not nearly as cool as a Mustang Cobra with a body kit & spoiler…….. but that is just my opinion.

    Well, when you run a tech site.. and the other two authors aren’t Mustang fans… well, the Keyboard looked better with the Geek Tips theme.
