Windows 7 Released to Manufacturing

Microsoft just announced the Windows 7 RTM. This means that they have completed the final build is now complete. All that is left for most is to wait for the General Availability(GA) on October 22, 2009.

So what are your thoughts on Windows 7?  Think it will be Vista, round 2 (which was ME, round 2 for some)? Or XP, round 2(which was Win2000 round 2)? Let us know in the comments.

1. Windows 7 sounds very interesting, I wonder if microsoft will have sucess with the release, or will it be vista-like? I have seen windows 7 in action and I was suprised be how nice it looked and the fact that it worked VERY WELL (30 second start-up from virtual box! For me, however, I will stick with Mac. Well that is my 2 cents. Highlander37 <
