About Tony’s Geek Tips

Tony’s Geek Tips was founded in May, 2008 by Benjamin Storrie and Jack Chapa. We started out as “Just Another Wordpress Blog”, hosted on wordpress.com, which worked well as we got our feet wet in technical blogging. During that first year, we made many mistakes, had a few successes, and learned a lot. We had a blast.

But we were looking to do more. In January of 2009, we invited a new contributor to the blog, Ray. His work in graphic design is phenomenal, and we were honored when he obliged. A little while later, the three of us started putting together a plan to expand Tony’s Geek Tips.

On May 16 of 2009, our one year anniversary, we moved to our own domain. This allowed us to have more flexibility in many areas, including layout, additional features, and room for growth.

The road lies before us. As we proceed into the future, by listening to our readers, expanding our website, and continuing to post on a wide range of topics, we hope that we pass the hardest test yet. The test that many take, but few pass. The test of success.
